Sully Update - 9 months

It's been a while since I've done an update on Sullivan.  He's 9 months old already (tear) :(  He's weighs about 25 pounds (yes, he's huge!) and wears 12-18 month clothing and some 24 month stuff.  He sleeps all night (still in his woombie) and is the sweetest, best baby!!!  He eats baby food about twice a day and still takes an 8 ounces bottle at night before going to bed.  So far he loves all baby foods except Sweet Peas...he gags!  He's tried a few things from the table and seems to love it, but I'm just not as anxious to feed him from the table as much as I did with Hudson.  He has 6 teeth: 4 on top and two on bottom!  He had 6 by the time Hudson's first tooth broke through...amazing how different they are.  Sullivan has a head full of hair and laughs and squeals all the time.  He is so happy.  We recently moved him into a big boy car seat in both cars.  So far he likes them pretty well.  He is moving all over the place.  He doesn't do the typical crawl...but more less the "army crawl" with his elbows.  It's funny, but boy, can he move fast.  He's found a few things on the floor that he wanted to taste: a stick Hudson brought in from outside, dried pizza bread (that Hudson dropped on the floor, clothing strings, one of Hudson's squinky toys, other crumbs, etc.  I probably shouldn't have said all of that but I mean I can't keep the floor swept and vacuumed enough!  He's beginning to try to stand on his own but only for a couple of seconds.  He still hasn't went from a crawling position to a sitting position and isn't pulling up on anything yet.  OH...and around 8 1/2 months, he finally started grabbing and holding his own bottle...HAL-LE-LU-JAH!!!  Enjoy the pictures!

Halloween 2011

This was Sullivan's first Halloween and it was a lot of fun.  Hudson dressed as "Hudson-stein" (you'll understand when you see pictures) and Sullivan dressed as Big Al - the Alabama Elephant!  Both were PRECIOUS...you'll see! :)

First Zoo Trip

This post is a little lot latebut we FINALLY took Hudson to the Zoo for the first time this summer.  We went August 5, right before I had to go back to work.  We went with our friends Andy, Brandee, and Hudson's best bud Jack.  The boys had a GREAT time (and so did the parents).  We really want to try to go back sooner than later.

Arrrrgh!

He's THREE!  Arrrrgh!  It's hurts my heart (a little) to say that.  While I'm so grateful we've had three wonderful, healthy years, I still CAN'T believe he's three already!  We had a Pirate Party for Hudson and the "jumpy place" in  Boaz.  He loves pirates and loves the "jumpy place" so we just combined them.  Plus, the "jumpy place" is really convenient. :)  Hudson had LOTS of his friends to show up and I think they all had a GREAT time...plus mommy and daddy got to "catch up" with their friends too!
