Hudson's Baby Book

 In The Womb

February 4, 2008: told family members about you
week 14: first fetal movements
week 17: first sonogram, you weighed 9 oz, found out you were a boy, and decided on your name
week 19: first time to feel you kick my hand through my tummy; first time for daddy to feel you kick too
week 24: first baby shower given by my friends at school
week 28: 4D ultrasound - saw you smile :), first hiccups that I felt
week 32: baby shower for friends and family
week 37: Popoo and Daddy put crib (made by Popoo) together in nursery, JuJu and I put your crib bedding on your crib, bought other nursery furniture and put it in your room
Week 39: Mommy's water broke at about 10:30 p.m. on September 4, went to hospital, you arrived on September 5, 2008 at 5:48 p.m.  You weighed 8 lbs 6 oz and were 20 inches long.

12-18 months (words he can say consistently and these are not in any particular order): "ooooww" - meow (and make the sound)"uff-uff" - ruff ruff (for a bark when you see a dog), gone gone, "fuff-fy" - butterfly, fire truck, baby, "deets" - eat, cheese, "eh woh" - yellow, "bue" - blue, red, rory, "ell ut" - elliot, "cacker" - cracker, cheese, "bed" - bread", "bup" - cup (then you started saying "pup" - cup"), hat, shirt, coats - coat, Amy, momma, mommy, "bes" - Beth, Ju-Ju, "setsy" - Lexy, "aney" - Delaney, door, nanny, paw-paw, nanna, Anna, "la la" - Lauren (we call her LaLa), "wa-wa" - water, "shuice" - juice, "dink" - drink, "bapes" - grapes, "chi roh" - cheerio, cereal, walk, "doctor" - tractor then you started saying it right - tractor, outside, "bass" - bath,  "moov ah" - movie, boot, shoes, ear, nose, teeth, cheek, hair, apple, "nana" - banana, hand, zach, "biper" - diaper, "bipes" - wipes, "burt" - book and later you say "boot" (as in hook) for book, "mi mouse" - mickey mouse, toodles, church, frog, "wibbit wibbit" - ribbit ribbit (making the sound), chair, "seet sa" - pizza, "dot dog" - hot dog, swing, work, shower, powder, "keen" - cream, towel, bear, sing, duck, sun, "cook uh" - cookie and few weeks later started saying it correctly - cookie, tee tee, poo poo, poot (haha), hot, cold, "iiiight bat" - right back, "pappys" - paci, socks, oats, meat, turtle, bird, up, down, out, "eh moe" - Elmo, "neena" - teena, toy, "a mane" - airplane, "ha bow" - hairbow, "bi mans" - vitamins, dirt,

17 months / 18 months - started making sentences somewhat: "onah eat", "onah walk", need a hug, onah hold you, "____ go bye-bye" (when someone leaves or if you notice someone or something is gone), on't moov-uh - I want movie, "on't teeth" - I want teeth (when you want to brush your teeth), "on't sing" - I want sing (when you hear music or when you see a cd player), "bown bear bown bear" - brown bear brown bear, on't juice - I want juice, "on't chair" - I want chair (when you are ready to eat),  "on't nite nite" - I want nite nite, "on't down", "on't up", on't want it, i want it, here!, onna hold you, "paw-paw perry" - paw-paw larry,   

Other Things

18 months - you LOVE to look at books and have books read to you.  You read Brown Bear, Brown Bear and name all the animals in the book except for the sheep and the fish, but you even name the teacher and children at the end.  You are so smart!

2 to 2 1/2 years old - sings ABC's (you get most of the letters), loves books, loves to play with big blocks and build robots with daddy, loves trains and your train table, LOVES tv (new obsession)...favorite tv shows: Ni Hao Ki Lan, Max and Ruby, Dora, Diego, Franklin, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Handy Manny, Special Agent Oso
Favorite Movies: Toy Story (all 3 of them), Robots, Nemo

By 2 years old you can say all sounds correctly except for L you say /w/, and you can't really say the Y sound yet (you pretty much just leave it off of a word)

Some cute words you say at 2 years old: "trang" - train, "color spress" - Polar Express, "up/down" - upside down show, "bwana" - banana, "pwana" - piano, "pree sun" - capri sun, "o-gur-it" - yogurt, "al-bana" - Alabama, "scootball" - football, "seerio" - cereal, "oo" - you (ex: i wanna go to "oo" house), "MOP-eh-der" - thermometer, "Shammit" - Sandwich
Some funny phrases and things you've said: when you go to the doctor you say "i just a wittle bit sad", poppoo asked you one night if you liked "kit kats" (the candy bar) and you said "uh huh" and then said "i like doggies too", if your nose is running you say "my nose is sneezing",

05-13-2011 - we went to huntsville to eat and go to babies r us and when we were walking back out to the car you dropped your gum out of your mouth and then picked it back up OFF OF THE PARKING LOT and chewed it...I freaked out and Zach dug it out of your mouth as fast as he could...It was funny just watching Zach did it out...Then you cried b/c you thought you were in trouble...that or Zach scratched the top of your mouth trying to dig the gum out.  He didn't know it was your gum that you dropped out of your mouth...he, at first, thought it was someone else's gum...then I would have REALLY freaked!!!
