This week you are beginning to stay awake for longer periods during the day (1 hr at some times). You wake up about every 3-5 hours at night to eat. September 23rd was your first trip to church. Everyone loved you (of course!) You had your 1 month dr. visit on September 28th. You weighed 9 lbs 3.5 ozs and was 22 inches long. Your head measured 36 cm (14 1/4 inches.) September 28th was also your first real smile. You smiled at me (mommy) while I was talking to you, then you smiled at JuJu while she was talking to you! I got a good pic of you smiling at JuJu (see below.) We also bumped your bottles up to 4 ozs the day your turned 5 weeks old (sept 28.)

Week 6: September 29 - October 5
This week is about the same as week 5. September 30th you went to the Parris family reunion. Nanna wanted to show you off :) You also met Matt for the first time...he had been dying to see and hold you! October 1st you started wearing size 1 diapers. You are getting so big.
